Killzone 3 (Sometime abreviated as KZ3) is a First-Person Shooter game developed by Guerrilla Games, and published by Song Computer Entertainment exclusively for the PlayStation 3.
Killzone 3 is the third game in the Killzone canon franchise, and the fourth game in the entire series. It was released February 22nd, 2011 in North America, February 23rd, 2011 in Europe, and February 25th, in the United Kingdom.
Prompting by popular demand, many features from Killzone 2 have returned. Included in these was the Multiplayer and Rewards System, Downloadable Content, and the harsh storyline.
Unlike it's previous counterparts, Killzone 3 was the first game to be compatible with 3D TVs, and is optioned to be played at 3D.
The famous multiplayer returns in this installment of the Killzone franchise. Many features were added into the game, including;
- More weapons, and higher ranks
- Different ranking system
- Vehicles and Mechs
- Interchanging Weapon Ability
- Guided System Missiles and Mortar Beacons
- Capture Bases for Respawning
A straight Multiplayer version of Killzone 3 is available on the Playstation Network. This version has access to all Multiplayer Abilities, and is compatible with the online SV file if you switch from your disc to the game app. Other things, such as all DLC and a voucher for Double XP for 24 hours is also included upon purchase.
